It is evening time
A cool wind is blowing
Darkness is gathering across
The land and water and growing

It is evening time
Time to light the lamps
Before the deities and pray
Children are homes from games

It is evening time
And both old and young
Sitting around a bonfire with
Music sing many devotional songs

It is evening time
Of the month December
Silence will rule in the night
Draped with the cold of the winter
