Desire never ceases
Because she’s gone,
Memory returns her
Tightly into my embrace.
Summer dresses
And lovely jaunts
On flowery streets,
Sunlight laughter
Fills the park.
Forever I’ll recall
Her brown hair
On cloud-white shoulders
And whispering her name
At an Indian restaurant.
It’s hard to live
In a world of unforgiving clocks
Where every passage of time
Takes you further away
From ever being in love again.
Each stanza creates a nostalgic poem picture. Lovely work, Uriah. Warm regards, Sandra
Aww one day you will meet and keep the woman of your dreams Uriah! Another heart tugger, I like indian food too....Smiling at you, Tai
