Everlasting Poem by Shaun Cronick

Everlasting

Rating: 5.0

Searching, searching under star-lit skies.
In everlasting search of love am I.
Endlessly seeking a love for my heart.
Without the knowledge of where to start.

Blindly stumbling I enter night again.
Wondering if my quest is all in vain.
Just a touch of the hand, maybe a word said.
Then my heart out of loneliness can be led.

If only I could see, if only I could hear,
Just a few words of love, not the echoes of fear.
Is my searching, searching forever in vain?
Shall I ever, ever feel true love again?
