Everything has a story to tell
if only they could speak.
The sky that looks down on us
and the earth that is beneath our feet.
The sea with its restlessness
and the buildings touching the sky.
Everything has a story of what it has seen.
What a wonderful enlightenment we would gain
if we could only talk to them.
We can observe them in our daily lives
and often sometimes wish
we could trade places with them.
We sometimes do in our imagination
whenever we let it roam free.
