Excusing Destruction Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Excusing Destruction

Excusing the face of destruction.
Excusing the one,
Who brought...
Fraud,
Deception and corruption.
To the steps,
Of the house of democracy.
And allowed with this to do,
By one followed and cheered...
To destroy the foundation,
That created greatness.
Although...
Seen to disbelieve,
How lies told to tell them...
Can effectively disease,
Mentalities fed on fiction.

Who is responsible?
Everyone,
Incapable to face the truth.
And chose to have,
Their lives to live on lies.
And selected one chosen,
To falsely represent...
A way of life,
Directed and instructed...
To have their own,
House of democracy...
Ruined.
Until it crumbles to the ground.
By a mind driven,
With ego and sickened...
Narcissism!
Delighting to ignite,
A doing of a deed...
Only a demon,
Would find enjoyable...
This kind of wickedness,
An activity that pleases!
