Exhausting Belief Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Exhausting Belief

People will find time,
To play the victim.
Don't they?
But seem to run out of time,
And excuses to create...
When face to face with truth.
Giving fakers no time to play,
Or deceive reality.
For what reality is and meant to be.

"Was it mentioned,
That the 'victim' created the conflict?
Then made it an effort,
To make accusations.
Against those they chose to perceive,
Would talk about what they did to do.
But didn't? "

-So,
What are you saying?
The ones who know they do others wrong,
Are the first to blame...
Someone else.
To defend themselves,
With lies told to sell.
And those who know the truth,
Are not out trying to sell it.
They live it and this is known.-

"Right.
Those honest,
Tell it for what it is.
And not too often,
Out campaigning to sell...
Their victimization 24/7.
Exhausting the belief of it.
