Eyelashes
Her name is in Persian,
Translates to "Eyelash."
I said hi, we chatted,
Talk ended in changes
Of the life's standards.
In the past the lovers
When spoke about girls
Mostly talked about hair,
Eyebrows, eyes, lashes.
Her sizes were taboo
And secret, hid, tattooed.
The women of these days
Are holding positions
In science, governments,
Randomly are the same
As romantic poems...
Then, the curl of her hair,
Eyebrow with its curve,
And the eyelash sharpness,
Acted as bows, arrows,
For them their men dueled.
Just before the goodbye
I showed my surprise:
"Which one is less respect? "
She played with knuckles,
It could be of despair.
Took vey deep breath,
With a sigh, to answer:
"Guess a wife of today
Is another female,
That is why not always,
Is seen as fulfillment
And lifetime's partner!
