Eyes - Poem by Megan Kinkel

Twinkling eyes,
Shine so bright,
After dark,
Only at night.

A smattering of gems,
In a field of blue,
Everything’s gone,
Except this view.

Such mystery,
Fills those eyes,
That surround us,
In the skies.

Eyes of angels,
Staring down,
At the Earth,
Us on the ground.

Celestial eyes,
Take away pain,
Gifts of beauty,
They let us gain.

Find solace,
In the stars,
In the beauty,
That they are.
