Eyes Of A Bard Poem by Abhay Vignesh Liginlal

Eyes Of A Bard

Rating: 4.0

Look into the eyes of this bard O world
It burns with the fire of hope
Brood in the span of a 100 years
She still will be a distant dream

Gone are those days when she used to reply
There is no more tear or laughter in life
Shed this burden of love O heart
And bind yourself to a divine tryst

Bless those days when replies came fluttering
But never will I curse that day which I cherish today
Before which the book of life was blank

Let me pass my days
In the madness of this love
As a wild flower in her harsh dreams
Let me be a thorn on the stem
Of the rose that she is, forever
The dropp of dew on her surface will fade.

I think all of us tend to share on and off appreciating spending some time in the madness of love, of in love, that means. It can be so thorough and wonderful; on other times it is heart breaking and tough.
