Eyes Of Storm Poem by Sanjukta Nag

Eyes Of Storm

Rating: 5.0

Your love has the tragic eyes of a storm,
That never care to look back
To the destruction
It has caused to my fragile earth.
Those eyes always fail to witness
The uprooted evergreen forest of promises
Once you had planted for us.
Moreover, the darkness in its eyes
Everytime blinds the blue vision of my sky
With grayish clouds of desolation.

With grayish clouds of desolation. With the muse of the mind and the heart under the scars of life. Nice work.

Sanjukta...... poetry is in your life blood! You have presented the heart ache and the indignation over a love that after giving promises failed to fulfill those promises! You have been able to preserve the image of a destructive wild wind that uprooted the green forest of promises and a cloudy sky that darkened your world! Great write!

There is a fascinating appeal in these protestations of a loving heart which is now a victim of betrayal. Immaculate representation of an emotional disposition. Thanks. Those eyes always fail to witness The uprooted evergreen forest of promises
