Face Unseen - Poem by Amalei Masigla

A smile brought by the joy of seeing you again
We laughed like children
Played by the shore
Catched the tide
Played with the sand and built our sand castle
Told stories of how we run our lives
Made trails of our footprints in the sand
Walking and running
Reaching out
Held hands
Waited for the sun to set
No tears shed
Still you were the restless one and I was the one holding on
