Family Quest Poem by Thomas Plotz

Family Quest

Blue hair girl, came past my station,
But I just sat, watching my love walk pass
Unsure for 100% certain, till 20sec had past and so did she,
I called out her name, but it was to late...

Blue boy on a bike,
He's alright, a fine love of mine,
But when I called out his name,
It was the same, he kept heading west...

Even my sister Mary, stopped and asked for a ride
I should of saw her sooner, with the tears that were dropping,
Was because she couldn't say my name,

Other family were here, this day cousins, nephew, brothers
And mothers, fathers and my dear Son dear,

This went on all day, for 3 big blue trailers
Went toward the setting Sun...

For I had forgotten the rules of the quest,
I need to shake your hand, not just call your name,
Hug and kiss you too.

Then at the end, I missed again
My Son was here once more, sitting in Wait

But I couldn't see,

When the music played, the circle song,
I did see the - red headed girl, I'Married once,
Run away from me,
Not wanting me, to see her rain; Fall
