A – Adorable
T – Tolerant
H – Humane
E – Elegant
R – Respectable
O! Father of mine
I found a friend in you
Was it chance, fate or predestination
Our friendship nurtured and grew so strong.
The twinkle in your eyes like shooting stars
Words of wisdom and encouragement
Made me stronger each day
Taught me to stand up and face the world.
You held my hand when days were dreary
You showed me the path to realize my dreams
But, alas!
Just as the sea grew calmer and shore close at hand
Poof you were gone.
The light of my life was blown away
O! why did you leave the hour of jubilation
An irreplaceable void you left within…..
Miss you and love you always……..

very nice poem. excellent a nice tribute to a special person. i wrote a very special poem relaying my father's feelings for his daughters. you can see it if you want. 2008- I heard a sweet voice.
