Hidden Truths Poem by Sonal Chhaya

Hidden Truths

Your smiling face
Brings out the beauty in you
I notice a tear
Hidden truths thoroughly masked
I sense a grieved heart.

Experiences one too many,
Emotions tightly wrapped
Heard a distant rumble
Signs of a volcanic outburst
Will it or won't it.

Lips quiver
The warrior fights
Beads of perspiration
Peace, at last.

Face lit up
Eyes bright as the sun
Darting right and left
Unaware of any stare
What a fight! ! !

Smile Always
Silent Mind blowing Interactive Lasting Event.
