Fear Of The Truth Poem by Dorsey Baker

Fear Of The Truth

Hit hard by betray
Foolish games
people play
sadness becomes a night
sadness becomes a day

No more bleeding
you've already bled
its so hard to live your life
when you are already dead

Tears are more than a river
Tears are more than a sea
Out of the prison of sadness
wishing that you could be

You've given so much of your time
and wasted so much of your strength
You have become a dangerous serpent
and serpents refuse to repent
You seem so naked
but no one knowing
that your eyes
are just telling lies!
