Workers can't
go to work
Children can't
go to school
stay at home
thats the new normal
thats the rule

whats the world
coming to

social distancing
no personal contact
the virus
is very much alive
and it might attack

stay out of the street
don't be caught
in a crowd
just say it out loud!

whats the world
coming to

So many people sick
So many people dead
dropping just like flies
another one gets infected
another one dies

whats the world
coming to

Don't know
whats coming next!
fear nags
at the heart
people want to come together
but fear
of the virus
is keeping them apart
just don't know
what the world
is coming to?
