Fear's Defeat In Flight Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Fear's Defeat In Flight

Glide underneath the mountain tops
Laugh above the sea so low
Soar and wish and think and dream
Alter the sky's tomorrows
Little bird, trust and succeed
Steal strength away from sorrow

Ride the gentle wind of joy
Let the current be your guide
Destitute of hope you'll never be
If you take this flight
At once you'll be forever free
Gain clarity in the Sun's light

This lofty breeze will cleanse you
Upon descent your wisdom grows
Through the ground whispers reach your ears
Tales of beauty no longer known
New perspective defeating fears
Altering the sky's tomorrows

The main message about the cleansing breeze is lovely. Some hastiness in the last stanza can be improved. Please avoid the many abstract descriptions. You may think of nature and refer to her details if you need. The flight of the birds, the rain, the Universe, the sky at night, the streams, rivulets and brooks, all can become details in beautiful poems. I smile at you and expect you to come back and write soon. G.
