Feathery Leaves Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Feathery Leaves

Feathery leaves dangling from trees, tickling and touching
this mind within, watching as they brush across neurons
and synapses.

Purposely causing thoughts and interjecting a perfect bal-
ance into their essence, a moment of desire filtering
through.

Taking heart and mind into a twilight zone of eerie feel-
ings, contained by intellect, reasoned out, given explan-
ations that hold up even under heavy scrutiny by doubters.
