Feel No Despair - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Feel no despair sweet lady I'm
just very tired and catching up
on some very needed sleep.
I'm not mad at you in any way,
though I do feel sad because I wish you were here.
Please come back soon so I can
hold you close and reveal to you my heart and soul.
Feel no despair for I'm right here,
I just wish you were here to lay with me
as I try to get more sleep and be
totally recharged for thee.
I feel no anger though I do feel sad,
sad because I ache so deeply for you to be here.
If you're worried just extend your hand
and let me hold it to give you peace
and be filled with love.
I need your strength too so let's give
each other that which we both need.
I love you darling deeply as you do me.
