Feeling Loved
The buds open up
As you come out
To take a stroll
In the garden,
The dawn breaks
In the east to spread
The light across
The valley and plain.
You walk on the dew
Soaked lawn with
Paces slow and steady
Humming a song,
In this season of love
You look at the two
Birds and in your heart
Something goes wrong.
Looking at the two birds something goes wrong in your heart. Poor fellow. the scene reminds him of his begone days. A brilliant poem on the effect of memory that is brought to mind by a sight like a pair of birds...10
