Feeling Sadness Poem by Sandra Feldman

Feeling Sadness

Rating: 4.3

What is Sadness?
Moonless nights,
Empty oceans,
Full of fright,
Navigation without sight,
All emotions colored White,
The blank pages of a book,
Where no smile did ever look,
And a loneliness supreme,
Of a life yet to redeem.

Yet, with the splashing of a wave the moon takes note, the ocean is offended but understands and the moon has wept at your sadness, but be assured, they well know the depths of sadness and so they hold your hand and in hopes of a smile that will come your way. Your poetry inspires my friend! ! !
