Felt To Condone Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Felt To Condone

Discrimination begins its development,
From an insecure place.
Perhaps to feed upon mistreatment.
Or a belief enforced to keep.
And harshly taught.
With it sought to teach.
Diseasing minds with infested mentalities.
Condoning to own only what they have known.
Based upon skin color.
And skin color alone.
That creates a tone.
Bringing that sickness and it effects,
Inside their own homes.
To thrive upon to digest.
Addicting themselves,
To the infestation created to manifest.
