Fetal Position Poem by Lauren Coles

You might be driving down the road and you might be driving too fast,
As you come to a stop you see a woman in the middle of the road in the fetal position,
You wonder how they got there,
But you don't say anything and go on about your business,
But eventually people will start to ask questions,
You can't cover up your child's eyes from everything,
The more time that people stay on the side of the road the more likely time will slip away more quickly and you won't be able to save a life.
