Feuding Relentlessly Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Feuding Relentlessly

If not for the truth,
Being pursued relentlessly...
There would be few revealed fueding.
And viewed to be ignored publicly.

Truth is a delusion killer.
And threatens those with minds,
Who find these times...
Needing to protect,
Their beliefs being attacked.

If not for the truth,
No one would notice...
Or wonder why,
Divisions and conflicts...
With them to start,
Is a purpose to keep...
Many unconscious kept in the dark.
Remaining fighting amongst themselves.
Over color of skin.
Who did what to do to who when.
Where one should go...'back',
From where they came from.
And who is entitled,
To stay as ignorant as possible.
With this to declare,
An independence that appears nowhere.

Since...
Once observed and this to witness,
Everyone caught up to feed on deception...
Has been made to perceive,
A unity to have it...
Does not depend on a diversity.
And...
As ridiculous as it is,
No one bragging about what they've got,
Would not have had that...
Without those they blame to claim,
Have come to take away their 'freedoms'.
When those FREEDOMS to enjoy,
Has every ethnic hand...
Making what is described as freedom possible.

And truth to defy and deny it,
Is a tool to use to isolate fools.
Feuding relentlessly,
To prove and validate...
The ignorance of their own history!
