Few Among The Many Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Few Among The Many

Few,
Among the many...
Will sacrifice their lives,
With kept beliefs to keep.
Of a doing good deeds for others.
Done with expressed sincerity.
Without it having this to be assumed.
Anyone like this,
Is desperately in need to receive...
Attention.
When it would be easier these days,
To mine their own business.
Without the aggravation to face.

However...
This task,
With it done to succeed...
Still will have others,
Scrutinizing...
Every movement someone like this makes.
To have this noticed more.
By those who can not seem,
To bring themselves to understand...
What good deeds to do for others mean.
Or the importance of accomplishing,
A minding their own business.
In fear of missing the attention to get.
