Final Poem by Rose Preston

Final

Rating: 5.0

The barbed wires
Of your memory
Strangle me in tears.
I feel the world crumble around my head,
My feet bleeding in the broken pieces.

And yet all I see,
All I feel,
All I know, is you.

I’m lost in the storm of pain.
Our final moments are etched to my brain...
Our final embrace.
Our final glance
Our final kiss.
My final breath.

I’m dead without you.
