Leave Me To Bleed - Poem by Rose Preston

You shrug it off,
You turn your head,
Deny the truth,
And leave me for dead.

It's you I love.
It's you I need.
But it's you,
who leaves me to bleed.

As you turn to go,
You fail to see,
The void you leave,
Deep inside me.

Don't you get it?
Can't you see?
I am you,
as much as you are me.

sometimes i think they do see, they just cant do anything to help, as much as it pains them, they have to let you bleed, as i said earlier though, Great poem =) (Report)Reply

As much as u think this sucks, i like it, its a good poem for a begginer and youll get better if you keep writing, you have the writing style and technique to write some really good poems (Report)Reply
