Final Dawn Poem by Elisha De La Rosa

Final Dawn

As the star light fades
I lay awake
in bed. As the light awakens the day
Morning has come today
Time to see sun again

Shine away, bright as a star
Forever standing alone
My sun part
From me. For this is my final dawn

As he rise, the mass red kisses the land
The sky change colors from dark to grey
Life fills the air
Like current rushed by water

My last time to see
It. Do you know its beauty.
Birds are chirping
Flowers are dancing
Calm winds are blowing

I will go to my grave can you see
As time pass me by
I am ready to die
Please don't cry
To see this dawn
Was my final answer

My final deed is complete
To watch the dawn
Till my enternal sleep
My final day has come
As I stand before the sun
It is time for you to weep
For my name has be called from heaven
