When heavy burdens must be borne,
We often ask the question why.
Becoming angry and forlorn,
We oft resent God till we die.
Why would God let his children be
Victims of undeserved offense,
To suffer then in misery?
Why does God punish innocence?
Whatever pain, whatever strife,
We can find faith that God will give
The strength that's needed in this life,
And hope we'll go with God to live.

All burdens borne in time and place
Are keys to heaven by God's grace.
