No longer do I linger in the earthen dust
.....Nor participate in skipping 'cross tendrils of grass
Nor do I breathe in the ozone after a Spring rain
.....Nor worry & wonder what shall come to pass.
I find myself finally breathing in
.....Meditating most upon life's utter wrongs
Wondering why some are chosen to be attacked
.....While wanton others live life's sweet song.
As nature notably proves herself once & again this day
.....And our gorgeous galaxy lets me know we are one
Offering - a thanks be to the Universe's affirmation
.....As all is well when my day is at last done.
This race called life has been a struggle sometimes
.....But I managed my way most of the time
Doing, I believe at last, what God wanted me to do
.....As, I am now nearing - the finish line.

What better conclusion to a race well run than this line- - all is well when my day is at last done.? It is my fervent wish that all mankind could in truth and joy say this line when they cross the finish line. Well-written, my friend, very well written. 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Awww...Susan, i thank you from the bottom of my heart! Just the fact that you take the time to read my words is a joy and an honor. Sometimes i miss comments because i do not check as i do not get many to begin with. Would you believe i once did - a few years back? Most of those members have either passed or moved to other sites. Any way, dear heart, thank you, thank you, thank you! Your reviews are a treasure to me.
