First Impressions Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

First Impressions

Today.
The only caring people show,
And have to express.
Are their first impressions to make.
To ensure them made will be remembered.
With it done to pre-meditate.
Guaranteeing an effectiveness.
After that...
Less is the caring of who they address.
Or how whomever first impressed,
Disbelieves the way they've been disrespected.
Especially by one they had accepted.

Those first impressions on others to make.
Pre-meditated or not.
Don't last too long to be forgotten.
When one in a mood proves,
They can expose to show a nasty attitude.
