Fleeting Emotions Poem by Ruta Mohapatra

Fleeting Emotions

Even stars die
Sprinkling stardust in the sky
Things are in a state of flux
Sprouting, growing and then turning to dust
Haven't you felt your anger fading?
And the strength of hatred slowly ebbing?
Alas, love too follows this law of nature
And after burning bright is turned to ember

A nice poem on the journey of life. Be it a star or a flower or love or pain it is surely going to die someday. Nice poem with sweet flow and rhyming. Thanks for posting.
