Flexible Yet Biblical Poem by Denis Martindale

Across this world, the Cross of Christ brings Good News to Mankind,
By sharing what Christ sacrificed God's grace then comes to mind.
Beyond this life, the Great Beyond, the choice some know full well,
So human hearts can then respond to Heaven or to Hell.

Believe and be baptised to share the destiny God gives,
The Holy Spirit's everywhere, God's guide to each who lives.
How flexible can God's gifts be? For spirit, body, soul.
Each saint has got a destiny that's in the Lord's control.

Beyond success and failure, too, beyond great lessons learned,
Beyond the best dreams in our view or wisdom we discerned.
By faith, the saints explore each day, God's Scriptures close at hand,
As long as insight leads the way, God's love has great things planned!
