Floating High On Low Motives Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Floating High On Low Motives

Born and made convinced untouchable.
From birth told had a mind,
Cemented in titanium.
That protects a platinum intelligence.
Yet troubled is this mentality.
One who floats high on low motives.
And a self imposing reality.
Even those exposed to truth,
Follow behind blindly...
Into gutters to visit.
Just to be close,
To one morally corrupted.
Although proclaims to have been chosen.
The best to represent,
An undoing of evils.
Yet continues to create,
Havoc as if a habit.
Division to present with joy given consent.
And obstruction as if to resent,
Rules, laws or flaws of others.
With a doing to inflict,
A righteousness to delude.
