Ahhhh... had a parakeet instead of a parrot but sometimes when I talked to him, he too ruffled his feathers as if to say and you disturbed my peace to say Petey want a cracker? And I thought people had a sufficient enough IQ to say something bright. Love this poem - you found the exactly right bird image to close this clever and perfect jewel of a poem! ! ! 10++++++++++++++ from me and the ghost of Petey past! ! ! ! ! !

a person could wait a LONNNNNNNNNNNNG time. they say that God does not always answer prayers in the way people want them answered. why should a parrot be any different? ? ? i especially enjoyed the first three lines. ;) i really liked this poem. to MyPoemList. bri :)

Its funny when we think we hope a reply from a bird/ or someone we talked to...the bird just moving moving and we waiting waiting....silence, the bird moving moving again and we waiting waiting...no reply..nothing is really communicate well to each other, both sides are required then only communication is happened!
