Flutter Poem by Jude's Child

Rating: 5.0

Along my vast travels in this southern half
Many a woman my path have crossed
And though all unique and wonderful in a way
Few would have me thinking all day

You see its the norm of this planet
The conformance to society
That sells us short of what could be
We choose comfortable over outrageous

Heart beats faster....stomache turns..
She lights the fire within, the fire that yearns
She is the coal....feeding a hungry furnace
........She becomes your focus

I would be a fool to be complacent
How could I have less....?
You see its not the hand I hold out of loneliness
But rather the flutter of heart which suprises

It's true how most choose like that, but It's no way to live. Great poem. -Kylie M. Lynch
