Fond Recollections Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Fond Recollections

Just a wonderful view,
as a new day dawns.
I sip on my coffee,
then give a loud yawn.
To the sound of the crow,
Its call is full on.
Wherever you are,
well life just goes on.
The tree in the distance,
is a perfect reminder.
It's branches reach high,
Many years now behind us.
Poetry brings me,
Much peace and connection,
Looking back on my life,
With fond recollections.
