Your footprints left behind in the sand
but just like the memories
they get washed away with every wave
that crashes upon the shore
now there's nothing here anymore
that's left for you and me

Everything that we use to share
it is no longer there
there's nothing here left to save
so I just let go of your hand
and walk the other way
trying to forget everything
you use to say

With every dream that disappear's
I wiped away many tear's
trying to forget you
now all that will remain
is a love left in vain
and here alone I will forever stand
just trying to make it through
