For Bagsy Poem by David Harris

For Bagsy

Rating: 5.0

A tribute to John Baker a friend

With heavy, heart I sit
memories of times in the past,
pass through my mind.
Never to meet you again,
sadness echoes in the silence,
life gone, laughter denied.
Therefore, I let you rest,
no more suffering.
I say a last few words to end;
you were a friend,
now to be sadly missed.
Gone are you, but not forgotten.
Goodbye and God bless.

It's the one thing about getting older, you start to lose close friends... I feel for you my friend.. Andy
