For Belle (1957-2020) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

For Belle (1957-2020)

Rating: 5.0

I am empty-hearted to hear
Of yr passing
You opened yr arms to a lost soul
And gave a warm hug
You were first to befriended me
And I am grateful
For the little time we had together
I wish we could've talked a little longer
For the last verses you read
Were mine
Filling me with love

Losing someone, especially someone who had more years ahead, is always terrible feeling. I don't know this Belle, but I am glad that part of her is immortalized in your words. A beautiful tribute, I wish you the best.
