(for Dónall) Skin Poem by Janice Windle

(for Dónall) Skin

Rating: 5.0

Waking with closed eyes
I lie with your warm thigh
pressing on my leg.

I feel your hand rests
caressing, on my sleeping head,
fingers on my cheek,

My eyelids open
on empty darkness. And yet
my skin recalls you.
