For Dear Meike Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Today is the lady's birthday
who had explained about the two angels

my mother saw them first
I asked her (my good friend)
what would that mean?

Those two angels
that my mother had seen
right when she was in the hospital
she had seen two angels at her foot
the whole room was brightly lit whenever possible

my mother had seen them in person
they were great angels
radiating the kindness itself
no, it was not a dream
as they had come
silent and suddenly they were there
the room completely brightly lit.
so they had disappeared again: silently

my mother died about 6 weeks after that

Meike's explanation was correct
i was wrong

Meike said that my mother would soon die

i reacted very shocked:
Or that she will live longer?

Afterword:
Very blessed do I feel now
that God sent His Angels to tell me
that my beloved Mum would soon be in Heaven
my dear Mum died 6 weeks after the appearance of the angels at my mother's feet-end and that was 3 days after Easterday
