as he walked out
drops of moonlight
trickled down my limping back
the tear that dropped into my palm
too had the texture of moonlight
that he and i felt between our fingers
but when he left me
it's in shallow
ripples of moonlight
i found myself in
on every amavasya
i inadvertently bring
my fingers together...
on every moonlit night
i see him peeping through the moon...
in his absence
my dreams rise and
crash at the desolate
shores of my heart
like the waves on
a typical moonlit night
