For John Giorno (1936-2019) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

For John Giorno (1936-2019)

Rating: 5.0

May he live in spirit as he did in flesh
And kill the moon over the grave
His voice will echo over the telephone
With poetry and speeches
Sleep
For the five hours have become an eternity
Sucking Andy's tongue
With all passion that his love had
Waltz with others whom have perish
Into a poetic protest of heaven
Into the streets of NYC
Rocking AIDS to its core
Have a safe trip to the unknown
For all mourn his death
