For Just One Kiss Poem by Barry Middleton

For Just One Kiss

Rating: 5.0

A galaxy looks past my heart.
It does not see;
a million billion stars are blind.
And I am looking out past souls
of other worlds.
They are too far away to touch.
Across the room I see your smile.
Impassioned stars
are burning in your fiery eyes.
And yet you are so far away,
a universe
I'd gladly cross for just one kiss.

Hi Barry you write with such grace...the romance...the sheer feeling of...(if only) lovely words. Annette

Thanks Nosheen. I love romance but it doesn't love me. Oh well.
