The cause is you but not necessarily.
Opponent and other forces would play.
Shed passion for success and failure.

Winter and summer come in a cycle.
Pain and pleasure are transitory.
Suffering is common to all beings.
Shed attitude of looking for pleasure.

Actions sometimes yield and sometimes belie.
Departure cannot assure arrival.
With eyes on the goal, you may skip the means.
Shed ambition of achieving the peak.

Equanimity and equipoise sow
The seed of peace for the quality of life.
Equanimity and equipoise plant
Jealous-less mind for the calmness of life.
