For Them - Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

The guilt,
it's engulfing me,
pulling me under.
We all know
how I get
when I'm guilty.
Heal, heal, heal.
That's all I can
afford to do right now.
Must heal,
must get better.
I'm staring wide-eyed,
I'm panicking.
All my fault,
I can't do this to him.
We have to split.
But WHY?
You guys look cute!
But can't they see?
I'm not happy!
I'm in tears now.
I can't do this anymore.
I have to heal,
I have to get better.
I have to do this for them.
I need to be strong
for myself
so I can be strong for them.
You think they'd see
that the only reason
I'm trying to stop
is them.
So I can help them,
so I can make them kbetter.
I wouldn't get better
for myself.
I don't want to.
They mean the world to me.
They are the world,
in my eyes at least.
I'm sorry that
I have to hurt some people
but if you stand in my way
I have to move you.
It'll tear me to pieces,
this guilt,
but I have to be strong.
For them.
