For Those We Miss Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

It's hard to face the fact,
That when we lose a loved one,
There's no coming back.
We long to see their smiling face,
Sitting in their favourite place.
We remember the good times,
With love and a smile,
Tears fall every once in a while,
For when our loved ones go,
Those memories will flow,
Over and over again.
They'll always be with us,
For we will remember them,
As the sun shines our way,
In the moon,
In the stars,
Every passing day.
