For You Dad
My dad was truly my hero
How special he was to me
I was really a lucky girl
For he treated me tenderly,
But yet he disciplined also
I didn't get away with a lot
I had to abide by the rules
Or a spanking is what I got.
The years roll by but memories
And pictures are always there
I miss you dad, so very much
I'd give anything if you were here.
Very lovely tribute to your father. Were nice if every child could be so lucky. Touched my heart. Really enjoyed this.
