Forever Poem by Doris Cornago

Forever

Rating: 5.0

Love manifests in your weakness
You're upset, your heart's divided
Logic deceived you, led you astray
But the feel of a thing, that wins you.

You might just be too smart to fall
But loving someone is not a metric
Of being smart, measuring up
Love forgets itself, that's the mystery.

Make your choice without expectations
Cardboard box feels warm and friendly
Yet whatever fits snugly could win you
Through all weather, stay together forever.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Nice poem. Or song should I say. The indefinable enigma of love…. Enjoyed. If someone rendered it on piano or shares a vocal rendition it would be great
